The community Groß Neukirch (Polish Gmina Polska Cerekiew ) is a rural community in the powiat Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielski (Kandrzin-Cosel district) in the Opole Voivodeship . The community seat is Groß Neukirch . The community is bilingual in Polish and German.
geography
The municipality is located in southern Upper Silesia and in the south of the powiat Kędzierzyńsko-Kozielski . The municipality has an area of 60 km², 85% of which is agricultural land.

Community leader
The head of the municipal administration is the municipality leader . Since 2008, this has been Krystyna Helbin, who did not run again in the regular election in October 2018. The choice brought the following result:
- Piotr Kanzy ( German Minority Election Committee ) 81.6% of the vote
- Jerzy Korecki (Election Committee “Jerzy Korecki - An Alternative”) 18.4% of the vote
This means that Kanzy was elected the new mayor in the first ballot.
Municipal council
The municipal council consists of 15 members and is directly elected in single-person constituencies. The 2018 municipal council election led to the following result:
- German minority election committee 66.3% of the vote, 14 seats
- Election Committee "Jerzy Korecki - An Alternative" 33.7% of the votes, 1 seat
