Geyve is a city and a district in the Turkish province of Sakarya . The place is about 30 kilometers south of the provincial capital Adapazarı .
The district is located in the south of the province. It borders on Pamukova to the west, Sapanca and Arifiye to the north, Karapürçek to the northeast, Taraklı to the southeast and the province of Bilecik to the south . In Geyve, the D-150, which comes from Taraklı, meets the D-650 highway, which runs from Antalya on the Mediterranean via Burdur , Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya to Karasu on the Black Sea . It follows the course of the Sakarya River through the district, which flows further north into the Black Sea. Its valley separates the mountain ranges of the Samanlı Dağları in the west and the Kapıorman Dağları in the east.
