Arifiye is a district of the Turkish province of Sakarya and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi (big city commune) Sakarya. The district town is located in the south of the capital Adapazarı .

The district is located in the center of the province. It is bordered by Adapazarı to the north, Erenler to the east, Geyve to the south, Sapanca to the west and Serdivan to the northwest . In Arifiye, the European route 80 , which comes from Portugal in Turkey, leads from Istanbul via Erzurum to the Iranian border, and the trunk road D-650, which comes from Antalya on the Mediterranean via Burdur , Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya to Karasu am Schwarzen Sea runs. The Sakarya River flows through the district from south to north and flows further north into the Black Sea. In the west it borders on Lake Sapanca Gölü . At the place Mollaköy lies a series of lakes, called Mollaköy Göletleri, in a loop of the Sakarya .

A section of the Anatolian Railway from Adapazarı to Eskişehir runs through Arifiye .
