Ferizli is a district of the Turkish province of Sakarya and at the same time a district of the Büyükşehir belediyesi (big city commune) Sakarya. The place is about 20 kilometers north of the provincial capital Adapazarı .
The district is in the north of the province. It borders on Kaynarca to the west, Karasu to the northeast, Hendek to the east and Söğütlü to the south . The city and the district crosses the D-650 trunk road, which runs from Antalya on the Mediterranean via Burdur , Afyonkarahisar and Kütahya to Karasu on the Black Sea . The Sakarya River flows north of the district town and flows further north into the Black Sea. There are no significant elevations in the flat district, in the north lies Lake Akgöl on the border with Karasu .
