Gina Capellmann-Lütkemeier

Gina Capellmann-Lütkemeier (born February 15, 1960 ) is a German dressage rider .

Athletic career

One of her greatest successes was the two-time German championship title in 1986 and 1987 with Ampere .

At the 1986 World Championships for dressage riders, she won team gold and was eighth in the individual ranking, also with amps . In 1987 she also won team gold with the German team at the European Championships in Goodwood and was sixth in the individual, again with Ampere .

Capellmann-Lütkemeier last competed in internationally advertised dressage tests in 2012. A year earlier she was 14th in the Grand Prix Spécial at the German championships with Baldessarini .

Gina Capellmann-Lütkemeier was one of the founding founders of the German Top Horse Sport Foundation, which was established in 2013, and is also its Deputy Chairman of the Board.

Private

Capellmann-Lütkemeier lives in Paderborn . She comes from an equestrian family. Her sister, who is five years younger than her, is the German dressage rider Nadine Capellmann . Her father Kurt Capellmann was the successor to his uncle Richard Talbot , owner of the Talbot wagon factory , dressage rider and long-time president of the Aachen-Laurensberger racing club .

Her daughter Fabienne Lütkemeier followed in the sporting footsteps of Gina Capellmann-Lütkemeier , who was reserve rider of the German dressage team at the 2012 Summer Olympics and has since competed several times for Germany at international championships.
