Grady Diangana (born April 19, 1998 ) is an English football player of Congolese descent who is under contract as an attacking midfielder with West Ham United .
Career
society
Diangana joined the West Ham United youth team in 2010 at the age of 12. Originally a striker, he started playing in the U-15 as an attacking midfielder. He made his U-18 debut for the club in February 2014 and made his debut in the Professional Development League in January 2015. On May 14, 2016, he signed his first professional contract with the Hammers. He signed a new two-year contract in June 2018.
On September 26, 2018 Diangana made his professional debut in the League Cup against Macclesfield Town . He played the full game and scored two goals in an 8-0 win at the London Stadium , which also featured debutants Conor Coventry and Joe Powell . Three days later, Diangana made his first appearance in the Premier League when he replaced Felipe Anderson in a 3-1 home win over Manchester United in the 93rd minute . Diangana became a regular after injuring Andrij Jarmolenko after starting a Premier League game against Leicester City for the first time on October 27 . On January 18, 2019, Diangana signed a new six-year contract that ties him to West Ham until 2025.
In August 2019 he was awarded for one season to the English second division club West Bromwich Albion .
National team
In November 2018, Diangana received his first international draft for the U20 of England in a game against the U20 of Germany . He made his England debut on November 19 with a 2-0 win over Germany.
