Quarry pond, nature reserve |
The Grambker See is a quarry pond in the Burg-Grambke part of the Bremen district of Burglesum . The lake, which is directly adjacent to the A 27 , was excavated between 1971 and 1973 when the motorway was being built. It has been a nature reserve since July 1, 2009. Before that, the lake was under landscape protection and was a bird sanctuary .
In 1988/1989, a shallow water zone was created on the north bank of the lake on an area of 2,500 m 2 as a compensatory measure for the construction of the A 281 .
The lake is fed by groundwater that is slightly salty due to the influence of the Lilienthal salt dome. The water quality is mesotrophic . It is completely surrounded by trees, which is followed by a reed zone . The lake is the habitat of various water birds , including great crested grebes , tufted pochards and pochard . Spawning herbs and chandelier algae settle in the lake .
Grambker Feldmarksee nature reserve
The 22.6 hectare nature reserve “Grambker Feldmarksee” is congruent with the FFH area of the same name and part of the EU bird sanctuary “Blockland”. It is largely surrounded by the "Blockland - Burgdammer Wiesen" nature reserve. The nature reserve is bounded in the northwest by the Ruschweidengraben, in the east by the Maschinenfleet and in the west by the Autobahn 27.
