Guido heat

Guido Wärme (* 1967 ) is a German historian , political scientist and head of the planning group of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament for the House of History in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Career

After graduating from high school in 1987 in Düsseldorf , a master’s degree in history , philosophy and political science followed in Wuppertal and Eichstätt as a scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation . The Magister Artium in 1993 was followed by a doctorate in 1999 at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal with a dissertation on the chairman of the Center Party in Upper Silesia, a member of the Reichstag and Catholic priest Carl Ulitzka . Heinrich Küppers was the supervisor .

From 1998 to 2007, he was a research assistant at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, including from 2000 to 2007 in the archive for Christian-Democratic Politics . From October 2007 to May 2008 he was head of the department for fundamental issues of state politics in the North Rhine-Westphalian State Chancellery , then until January 2013 he was department head in the state center for political education in North Rhine-Westphalia, responsible for principles as well as the promotion of memorial sites and culture of remembrance .

From February 2013 to December 2017, Wärme was Head of Politics and Strategy at the CDU in North Rhine-Westphalia . In 2018 he worked as a reviewer in the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia . From the summer semester 2018 he will be a lecturer in political science at the NRW School of Governance at the University of Duisburg-Essen .

Since February 1, 2018, Wärme has been head of the North Rhine-Westphalian State Parliament's planning group for the history, politics and democracy of North Rhine-Westphalia for the House of History in North Rhine-Westphalia. The House of the History of North Rhine-Westphalia is intended to be an institution of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia , which summarizes the history of the state scientifically and makes the results available to the general public.

Heat is a member of the " Research Association July 20th eV", the " Brauweiler District for State and Contemporary History eV", the Historical Commission for Silesia , the Society for Rhenish History , the Historical Commission of the Rhineland and the Görres Society .
