Allora & Calzadilla are an artist couple who have been working together as visual artists in San Juan since 1995 .
education
Jennifer Allora (born March 20, 1974 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , USA ) did her Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the University of Richmond in Richmond (Virginia) , Virginia in 1996 and obtained the title Master of Science (M. Sc. ) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2003. She was a fellow of the Whitney Museum of American Art degree program.
Guillermo Calzadilla (born January 10, 1971 in Havana , Cuba ) obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in 1996 from the Escuela de Artes Plásticas , San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Master of Fine Arts (MFA) followed in 2001 at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson in New York .
Life
The two artists met for the first time in Florence . In 2011 they were the representatives of the USA at the 54th Venice Biennale .
