Berlin Guy Chamberlin (* 16th January 1894 in Blue Springs , Nebraska ; † 4. April 1967 in Lincoln , Nebraska) Nickname : The Champ was a US American football poker players and coaches in their twenties.
In 1922 Chamberlin became player-coach for the Canton Bulldogs . After two years without defeat, in which he could also win the national championship, his team was sold to Cleveland. In 1924 he celebrated the third title win in a row with the Cleveland Bulldogs . The following year he moved to the Frankford Yellow Jackets , with which he won his fourth title in 1926. In 1927 he moved to the Chicago Cardinals , but was dismissed as a coach after a disappointing season with only three wins. After he then played for another year with the Cardinals, he finally ended his career.
Chamberlin is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame and was elected to the NFL's 1920s All-Decade Team .
