Hagenmühle is a district of the town of Burgbernheim in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland , consisting of a residential house and six outbuildings, is located in Windsheim Bay on the Ens , which feeds three ponds directly to the east of the village. There is also a tree there that has been designated a natural monument . The forest stream flows into one of these ponds. The district road NEA 43 leads past Hilpertshof to Mörlbach (4 km northwest) or the federal highway 470 crosses to Burgbernheim (1.7 km southeast).

history

The Hagenmühle (also called Gerlesmühle) has belonged to Burgbernheim since the end of the 18th century. The mill had the Brandenburg-Bayreuthian mayor's office in Burgbernheim as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Bayreuth, the Hagenmühle was given house number 201 in the town of Burgbernheim.

As part of the municipal edict, the Gerlesmühle was assigned to the Burgbernheim tax district formed in 1811 . She also belonged to the municipality of Burgbernheim , which was formed in 1813 .
