Harruck is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Groß Gerungs in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 37 building areas with 13,262 m² and 10 gardens on 4,300 m² in the cadastral community of Harruck , in 1989/1990 there were 37 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 79 and in 2009/2010 there were 50 buildings on 80 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 131 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 92 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 126 hectares and 97 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 117 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 98 hectares. The average soil climate number of Harruck is 17.6 (as of 2010).
