Hartmut Ehrlich

Hartmut Ehrlich (* 1950 in Gotha ) is a former German cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Ehrlich was active as a cyclist in various age groups in the GDR from 1956 to 1977 . In the GDR performance class, he started for the SC Turbine Erfurt . He was a specialist in short-distance races on the track . He won a title in the races of the children's and youth partakiades in 1968. Ehrlich was GDR champion in 1972 in the 1000 meter time trial ahead of Klaus-Jürgen Grünke . It remained his only national title.

Professional

Ehrlich completed a civil engineering degree in Weimar and Leipzig . From 1991 to 2015 he was managing director of the Strausberger housing association in Strausberg .
