Haselhorst is a district of the village of Diesdorf in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt .

The village is located in the northwest of the Altmark , five kilometers southwest of Diesdorf, around six kilometers east of the Lower Saxony city ​​of Wittingen and directly on the state border between Saxony-Anhalt and Lower Saxony.

The first documentary mention of the village Haselhorst as villa Haslehorst comes from the year 1258, when possessions from the village were transferred to the Diesdorf monastery .
