Hasret Kayıkçı (born November 6, 1991 in Heidelberg ) is a German soccer player of Turkish origin. The German national player in the position of striker is under contract with Bundesliga club SC Freiburg .

Career

Kayikçi grew up in Heidelberg-Rohrbach , began her career at TSG Rohrbach and went through several selection teams of the Badischer Fußballverband . After a year in the association league team (30 goals), she switched to Bundesliga club FCR 2001 Duisburg at the age of 16 in summer 2008 and made her debut on September 7, 2008 against Herford SV . A week later, she scored her first Bundesliga goal in a 4-3 away win against Hamburger SV . In May 2011 she moved to SC Freiburg . In April 2012, she was out for a long time because of another cruciate ligament tear, which initially went undetected. After a long break, she was able to record her first Bundesliga game in the 2012/13 season on February 24, 2013 and scored one goal. After three games, Kayikçi fell out again for a long time due to a knee injury. She couldn't play a game in the 2013-14 season. After a long break and further training, she celebrated her comeback in the Bundesliga at the start of the 2014/15 season on August 30, 2014.

National team

Kayikçi accepted German citizenship and was part of the U-17 national team for the World Cup in New Zealand . She was also a member of the U-19 national team for the European Championship in Macedonia . She suffered a cruciate ligament tear in the last group game. On September 7, 2016, Kayikçi was appointed to the German senior national team for the first time and sat on the bench of the DFB team for the first time against Russia on September 16, 2016. Four days later, she celebrated her A international debut for Germany in the European Championship qualifying game against Hungary . She scored her first international goal on July 4, 2017 in Sandhausen in a 3-1 win in the friendly against the Brazilian national team with the goal to make it 2-1 in the 65th minute.
