Heidi Neururer (born January 5, 1979 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian snowboarder and world champion in parallel slalom (2007).

Life

After a year in the ASA (Austrian Snowboard Association), Austria Cup and Continental Open, Heidi Neururer got a wild card for the ISF World Pro Tour .
In 2001 she switched to the Austrian Ski Association ( FIS ) and trained there until the 2012/2013 season.

In March 2013 she competed in her last World Cup race in Arosa , the place where she won the gold medal in parallel slalom at the Snowboard World Championship 2007 . In total, she competed in 143 World Cup races, of which she achieved 55 top 10 placements and 24 podiums.

In March 2013 she declared her active time in racing over.

After her career as a competitive athlete, she completed a bachelor's degree in Management and Economics at the University of Innsbruck , which she successfully completed in 2015.

In 2016 she participated in the 10th season of Dancing Stars .

Heidi Neururer studied in Krems an der Donau and lives in Vienna . The ski racer Benjamin Raich is her cousin.
