High speed motors

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

High Speed Motors was a British car manufacturer based in London . Only in 1938 was a sports car model built there under the name HSM .

The HSM Sports was an exact copy of Triumph Dolomite Straight Eight of 1934. Its compressor of loaded-line eight cylinder engine with 2.0 liter displacement had two overhead camshafts and provided 140 bhp (103 kW) at 5500 min -1 . Instead of the single Solex carburetor, one had two Zenith carburetors. The weight of the two-door roadster was 965 kg.

The model and the brand disappeared from the market as early as 1939.
