JMB Motors Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

GH Jones, RW Mason and CS Barrow founded the company in Ringwood in 1933 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand name was JMB . Production ended in 1935. In total, a little less than 100 vehicles were sold.

There were tricycles on offer that were similar to the tricycles from BSA . A single-cylinder engine from JAP with a displacement of 497 cm³ was mounted behind the seats and drove the individual rear wheel via a chain. The standard Gazelle model was an engine with side valves and the Mustang sports model was an engine with OHV valve control . Prices were £ 75.50 and £ 91.35 for the Sport model.

In 1935 a four-wheeled vehicle was created as a prototype , but it did not go into series production. A two-stroke engine from Villiers Ltd with a displacement of 350 cm³ propelled the vehicle.
