from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Comet Car & Engineering Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Croydon, Surrey from 1936–1938 .

The Comet was a light vehicle designed by Invicta . Like the sporty Invicta, the Comet was very well motorized for its low weight. It had an inline four-cylinder engine with an overhead camshaft and 1203 cc. Its front wheels were suspended individually. Unlike its big colleagues, the Comet never achieved any noteworthy production figures.
