The Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen ( German University of Arnhem and Nijmegen ) is a Dutch state-recognized university and provides education in the fields of business and business management, technology, construction, IT and communication, education, social work and health care. There is a campus in both Arnhem and Nijmegen . There are currently 63 Bachelor and 21 Master courses in English , German and Dutch .
International orientation
The flagship of the university is the Arnhem Business School with the International Business Management Studies ( IBMS ) course. Arnhem Business School (ABS) is the international department of the Faculty of Economics and Management. More than 600 students from 20 countries are currently studying at the ABS. Lecture language is English.
ABS has concluded agreements with over 80 partner institutes worldwide. The collaborative arrangements include student and staff exchanges, joint research, and the development of everyday projects and study work programs.
The International Business Management Studies (IBMS) course has been confirmed by the Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs association as the best IBMS course in the Netherlands.
A special feature of the IBMS course is the integrated semester abroad or the possibility of a double degree at one of the partner universities in other European countries.
“Since a limited number of double degree places is available, competition is fierce. Students who are selected for a double degree programs spend an extra semester at the partner university and on successful completion of their double degree and their ABS programs, are awarded two qualifications - a major advantage for an international career. "
For example, every year HAN offers two students the opportunity to take part in a double diploma program at the renowned Universidad de Deusto and, in addition to the Bachelor of Business Administration, also the degree Licenciado , the equivalent of the German diploma degree Univ. to acquire.
