The Honda Integra is a large wheel scooter from the Japanese manufacturer Honda , which has been available since 2012. The model designation NC stands for “new concept”, the internal factory codes are R62 (2012–13), RC71 (2014–15) and RC89 (2016 – date). Special technical features are the power transmission by chain and the automatic transmission .
technology
The Integra is the large scooter version of the NC motorcycle series (NC 750 S, NC 750 X ), which are based on the same technical basis. The engine, frame and chassis are largely identical. Technically, the vehicle is a motorcycle.
A horizontally installed two-cylinder in - line engine drives the scooter. In the first years of rendered four-stroke engine of 670 cc displacement (73 mm bore and 80 mm stroke ) 38 kW at 6250 min -1 . In 2014 the bore was increased to 77 mm. Since then, the displacement has been 745 cm³ and the engine output 40 kW at the same nominal speed.
There are 6 courses in the dual clutch transmission DCT ( "Dual Clutch Transmission"). At the factory, you can choose between automatic transmission and manual transmission for each vehicle . Special features in automatic transmission mode are, on the one hand, the independent downshift in the event of negative acceleration and the intervention of the driver in higher or lower gears. The gear shift takes place with intervention in the automatic or with manual shift in each case via electronic toggle buttons on the left handlebar arm ("+" / "-").
The vehicle is equipped with 17 inch motorcycle tires (front 120/70, rear 160/60). Two disc brakes slow the scooter. The ABS system from Honda ensures strong deceleration. The maximum speed is specified as 168 km / h, the machine briefly runs 190 km / h.
