The XR 600 is an all-terrain motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Honda . The light enduro is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder engine with 591 cm³ displacement. The first version was produced in 1985 and is derived from the previous model, the Honda XR 500 . The last version of the XR 600 was released in 2000. The successor model is the Honda XR 650 L .
Technical specifications
The air-cooled single-cylinder engine has an overhead, chain-driven camshaft that controls the four valves (RFVC) arranged radially in the cylinder head . The four-stroke engine has dry sump lubrication , the lubricant of which is held in the frame. The two-wheeler is started with a kick starter . The mixture preparation takes place via a 28 mm double carburetor from Keihin, from 1988 with a 38 mm round slide carburetor from the same manufacturer. The ignition is controlled electronically.
