Hotel Victoria was a TV show by WDR or ARD from 1961 to 1968, designed by Klaus Munro . Some sources give editions from 1959 and 1960. So far, consequences from these years have not been confirmed or repeated.
Vico Torriani led the action in the role of the hotel director. The show was produced in the studios of Bavaria Film in the style of the then popular music films . The film was shot in black and white on 35 mm film , the otherwise common cinema format.

The "Hotel Victoria" didn't really exist and kept changing the subject (ski hotel, spa hotel, castle hotel, etc.). It was in a different place in each episode, where the framework also took place. International stars from the theater, film and music industries took part. The “hotel guests” sometimes took on film roles - guest stars often appeared under their real names. The latest hits or specially rewritten titles that match the plot were always sung.
As a special feature of the show, the sung recipe was remembered. In song form, Vico Torriani gave instructions for international dishes while he was preparing them. Some of the musical instructions were published in 1967 on the LP "Vicos sounding cooking recipes" (Philips 843 950 PY).
