Hanne again

Hanne Wieder (born May 8, 1925 in Münden ; † May 11, 1990 in Feldafing ) was a German cabaret artist , diseuse and actress .

Life

As the only daughter of the police officer Georg Wieder , she grew up in different places. She dropped out of school around 1940. She then received her acting training at the school of the State Theater in Karlsruhe . Engagements in Stuttgart and Tübingen followed .

Hanne Wieder was 5 to 12 program member of the ensemble from 1948 to 1951 by the Düsseldorf Kom (m) ödchens whose first cabaret programs still in ruins were listed and the first German ensemble in the post again abroad - tour went. Hanne Wieder is also considered to be one of the most qualified interpreters of the works of Kurt Tucholsky , Walter Mehring and Klabund . The composer Friedrich Hollaender dedicated the chanson Circe to her , which is now part of the standard repertoire of every diseuse. She also performed poems by Mascha Kaléko that were set to music .

In the 1960s and 1970s, her involvement in political cabaret declined, which she justified with a lack of idealism . Instead, Wieder increasingly appeared as a singer, including songs by composers such as Richard Rodgers and Cole Porter , in television shows and continued to sing about chanson records. With the young James Last , she made one of the few complete recordings of Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera that also included the speaking scenes .

Among homosexuals , Wieder enjoyed cult status at times , which may have been due, among other things, to her deep, smoky voice, but also to pithy expressions such as "Many women today have lost a man ... and many men too". In movies she played a. a. with Heinz Rühmann in Greece, the Greek woman searches for the novel by Friedrich Dürrenmatt . In The Haunted Castle in the Spessart , she was the lascivious and cheeky ghost who gets its body back with the help of a magic potion. For her portrayal of Marga Hartog in the film Das Mädchen Rosemarie she received the German Film Critics' Prize in 1958 .

Again, the German voice of the devil was in The Exorcist , saying in the radio version of the Neverending Story , the "Ancient Morla".

She was one of the signatories of the We have an abortion! in the weekly Stern magazine of June 6, 1971 as part of the campaign initiated by Alice Schwarzer for the abolition of Section 218 of the Criminal Code .

1990 succumbed again a battle with cancer . She is buried in Stuttgart-Feuerbach .

this and that

Most sources have taken over the year of birth 1929, which Hanne Wieder himself “embellished”. The tombstone in Stuttgart-Feuerbach bears the correct number 1925.

In the film comedy The Most Desired Man on the eponymous comic by Ralf König satirized Monty Arnold the song "The Neanderthals ," which Wieders to Hanne repertoire belonged.
