How We Do ( English for " how we do (it) ") is a song by the American rapper The Game , which he recorded together with the rapper 50 Cent . The song is the second single from his debut album The Documentary and was released on November 23, 2004.

How We Do is a club song that lyrically contains elements of gangsta rap . In the first verse, The Game raps about expensive status symbols and that he was involved in drug trafficking and gun violence before being told by Dr. Dre was discovered in Compton . 50 Cent raps about his rapid rise as a musician and the wealth that came with it. At the same time he criticizes the high society , which avoid his society, because he comes from a criminal milieu and spreads stress. In the third verse, The Game and 50 Cent rap about their expensive jewelry and how they make women happy. The music video for How We Do was shot by the US director Hype Williams and has more than 120 million views on YouTube (as of July 2019).
At the beginning, The Game leaves his villa and opens the garage. Shortly afterwards, he is driving a Dodge Magnum through Los Angeles at night while rapping the first verse. 50 Cent then drives through the streets in a Cadillac Escalade, also rapping at night. During the third stanza they are both in a nightclub with scantily clad women dancing on the pole. In addition to the two rappers, Dr. Dre , singer Olivia and basketball star Carmelo Anthony in the video.

How We Do entered the German charts at number 9 on March 7, 2005 and stayed in the top 100 for a total of 16 weeks. In the German annual charts 2005 the single was ranked 65th. The song was even more successful in the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the Netherlands, where it reached the top 5.
