IC 1425 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type S in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 437 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 65,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 1422 and IC 1428 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on August 19, 1893 .
