IC 1418 is a galaxy in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 380 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 1423 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on October 9, 1891 .
