IC 1455 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 222 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 60,000 ly. a. the galaxies NGC 7397 , NGC 7398 , NGC 7401 , NGC 7402 .

The object was discovered on September 23, 1891 by Sherbourne Wesley Burnham .
