IC 2429 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type Sb in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 128 million light years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on March 24, 1900 by Stéphane Javelle .
