IC 2445 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 86 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 20,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 2824 .
The object was discovered on April 10, 1896 by Stéphane Javelle .
