IC 3270 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 483 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3243 , IC 3262 , IC 3269 , IC 3278 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
