IC 3694 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 375 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 65,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 4637 , NGC 4638 , IC 3698 , IC 3701 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 10, 1904 .
