IC 928 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E0 in the constellation Ursa Major at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 928 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 80,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 926 , IC 929 , IC 931 and IC 932 .
The object was discovered by Edward Emerson Barnard in June 1892 .
