IC 913 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Bear Guardian in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 413 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 910 , IC 911 , IC 912 , IC 914 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 17, 1892 .
