IC 915 is an elliptical galaxy with a high rate of star formation of the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 407 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 25, 1892 .
