IC 920 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E0 in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 355 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 50,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 924 and IC 927 , among others .

The object was discovered on July 8, 1893 by Stéphane Javelle .
