IC 924 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 376 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 65,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 920 and IC 927 , among others .

The object was discovered on April 17, 1889 by the American astronomer Sherburne Wesley Burnham .
