Iglesia Anglicana del Cono Sur de América

The Iglesia Anglicana del Cono Sur de América is a member of the Anglican Church Fellowship and has its origins in British immigrants in the 19th century.

Subordinate to the Archbishop of Canterbury as a primate until 1974 , it became part of the independent Church of South America and has now formed an independent province since 1981, which extends over Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay and 7 dioceses ( Argentina , Northern Argentina , Bolivia , Chile , Paraguay , Peru , Uruguay ) counts. At their head is a presiding bishop as a primate; currently this is Héctor Zavala Muñoz . The ordination of women is allowed in the Iglesia Anglicana del Cono Sur de América.
