Ilya Andrejewitsch Kablukov ( Russian Илья Андреевич Каблуков ; English transcription: Ilya Andreyevich Kablukov ; born January 18, 1988 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been playing for the HK Awangard Omsk from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since June 2020 Contract stands and plays there on the position of the center .

Career

Ilya Kablukov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HK CSKA Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-rate Pervaya League from 2004 to 2006 . He then played for two years for its professional team in the super league . During this period, the center was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2007 in the fifth round as a total of 146th player by the Vancouver Canucks , for which he never played. Instead, he spent the 2008/09 season with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the newly formed Continental Hockey League .

In the summer of 2009 Kablukow signed a contract with HK Spartak Moscow , for which he competed in the KHL in the following 15 months. In November 2010 he moved within the KHL to Atlant Moskowskaja Oblast , where he was under contract until January 2014 and completed over 150 KHL games. In January 2014, Atlant exchanged him for a right to vote in the KHL Junior Draft 2014 from SKA Saint Petersburg . Kablukow ultimately played for SKA for six years and won the Gagarin Cup twice with the team during this time . In May and June 2020, the striker was finally transferred to HK Awangard Omsk via Amur Khabarovsk and HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk .

International

For Russia Kablukow took part in the U18 Junior World Championship in 2006 . In the course of the tournament he remained pointless in six games and received two penalty minutes. He also represented his country at the 2007 Super Series . With the senior national team, he became Olympic champion at the 2018 Winter Games under a neutral flag.
