Maxim Valerjewitsch Tschudinow ( Russian Максим Валерьевич Чудинов ; born March 25, 1990 in Tscherepowez , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Avangard Omsk from the Continental Hockey League since October 2017 .

Maxim Tschudinow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior division of Severstal Tscherepowez , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2006/07 season . He remained pointless and punished in two games. In the following years, the defender fought for a regular place in the team that was included in the Continental Hockey League in 2008. After the Russian junior international had scored six goals and prepared seven goals in 47 games in the 2009/10 season, he was selected in the seventh round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft as the 195th player of the Boston Bruins .

In the following two years, Tschudinow completed 58 KHL games and scored 62 points before he left his home club after seven years of service in May 2012 and was signed by the SKA Saint Petersburg . At SKA he was one of the top performers in the following years, was named KHL Defender of the Month several times and won the Gagarin Cup with the Army Club in 2015 and 2017 . In October 2017 he left the club and moved to HK Avangard Omsk in exchange for the transfer rights to Dmitri Sawgorodny .

International

For Russia , Tschudinow took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008 , as well as the U20 World Junior Championships in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 .
