InCulto ( Spanish for "uneducated" or "uncultivated") was a Lithuanian band that was founded in 2003 by the Colombian Jurgis Didžiulis, whose grandparents came from Lithuania. Among other things, they took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song East European Funk , but failed there in the semi-finals. In 2011 they officially split up.

Eurovision Song Contest

InCulto twice applied to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest . In 2006 they competed with the title Welcome , but could only achieve second place behind LT United in the national preliminary decision , which then came off as the best participant in the competition to date.

In 2010 InCulto was able to prevail in the national preliminary decision in both the jury and the audience as the winner and qualified for participation in Oslo. In the run-up to the competition, the text of the Eastern European Funk contribution was checked by the European Broadcasting Union , but did not have to be changed. In the competition itself InCulto failed in the semifinals as twelfth place out of 17 participants.
