Ioannis Paleokrassas

Ioannis Paleokrassas ( Greek Ιωάννης Παλαιοκρασσας , born March 27, 1934 in Andros (Greece) ) is a Greek politician.

He was Greece's Minister of Commerce, Minister of Finance and, from 1993 to 1995, European Commissioner for the Environment of the Delors III Commission . On July 14, 1992, an unknown perpetrator in Athens fired a rocket, presumably of the RPG-7 type , at his car. The missile missed the vehicle but killed a passerby.
