Jamie Fraser (born November 17, 1985 in Sarnia , Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the EC VSV of the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League since May 2018 .
Career
Fraser began his career in 2002 in the Ontario Hockey League . He then worked for the New York Islanders and Minnesota Wild farm teams . Between 2009 and 2011 he was able to achieve initial successes with the Houston Eros .
In June 2011 he signed a contract with HDD Olimpija Ljubljana , who play in the Austrian ice hockey league . In 2012 he moved to the Vienna Capitals , where Fraser played until 2018. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he signed a contract with the EC VSV.
Achievements and Awards
- 2012 Slovenian champion with the HDD Olimpija Ljubljana
- 2013 best defender of the EBEL playoffs
- 2017 Austrian champion with the Vienna Capitals
