Jared Dudley (born July 10, 1985 in San Diego , California ) is an American basketball player. He currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers NBA team .

career

Dudley on the Suns (2011)

From 2003 to 2007 Dudley played for Boston College . During his college days, he scored 2,071 points in 130 games. In his senior year he was named Player of the Year at the Atlantic Coast Conference and was named to the NCAA All-America Second Team.

He then signed up for the 2007 NBA draft . The Charlotte Bobcats voted him 22nd place. In his first season he stood in 73 games an average of 19 minutes on the court and scored 5.8 points. On December 10, 2008 he was transferred to the Phoenix Suns along with Jason Richardson and a second round draft pick in exchange for Raja Bell , Boris Diaw and Sean Singletary .

There he was able to continuously improve his performance. In his first two full seasons, he played every game for the Suns. In the 2009/10 season Dudley took part for the only time in the play-offs and played in all 16 matches for his team. The Suns failed only in the Conference Final with 2: 4 to the Los Angeles Lakers .

In the 2010/11 season , Dudley scored double-digit points for the first time. The following year he was on the grid in 42 of the first 47 games. With over 30 minutes and 13 points per game, he is completing his most successful season so far in terms of personal values.

For the 2013/14 season Dudley moved within the league and accepted a contract offer from the Los Angeles Clippers . After only a year he was transferred to the Milwaukee Bucks . On July 9, 2015, Dudley was transferred to the Washington Wizards in exchange for a future pick in the second round of the NBA draft. After two seasons with the Phoenix Suns , he was sent to the Brooklyn Nets in 2018 in exchange for Darrell Arthur .

On July 7, 2019, Dudley signed a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers .
