    The shooting club was founded in 1926 and existed until 1939. It was re-established on March 11, 1977. In 1978 the community made a building available to the shooting club on the old sports field as a shooting club.

  • Jelmstorf volunteer fire brigade founded in 1912. The local fire chief is Stefan Burmester and Christian Reimann is his deputy. The fire station is located at Ziegeleistraße 1. The fire guards are equipped with a TSF from Ziegler / Opel.
