Jens Hansen (politician)

Carl Jakob Jens Christian Barnabas Hansen (born June 18, 1872 in Nanortalik ; † unknown ) was a Greenland state councilor .

Jens Hansen was the son of Johan Christian Anthon Frederik and his wife Rahab Kirstine Eulalia Ane Maria. From 1911 to 1922 he sat for two legislative terms in the South Greenland State Council . Only in 1915 was he represented by Johannes Mathiesen . In 1950 he celebrated his 78th birthday as the oldest resident of Nanortalik. On this occasion he was awarded the X og dronning Alexandrines Fund by Kong Christian .
