John Wesley (actor)

John Wesley (born August 3, 1947 in Lake Charles , Louisiana - † September 7, 2019 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor who claims to have acted in over 100 films, series and 25 plays.

Life

John Wesley studied a. a. Political Science from the University of San Diego and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts . In 1977 he received a Masters of Fine Arts in theater and acting from the University of California, San Diego . In 1996 he was visiting professor in the classical theater department at the University of San Diego.

From 1963 to 2019, he was seen in 120 film and television productions or was involved as a voice actor, often with appearances in individual episodes of different series.

John Wesley was the director of the Southern California Black Repertory Theater.
