Josefsdorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Groß Gerungs in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 12 building areas with 4,459 m² and 5 gardens on 4,192 m² in the cadastral community Josefsdorf , in 1989/1990 there were 12 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 36 and in 2009/2010 there were 27 buildings on 58 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 53 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 17 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 51 hectares and 19 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 50 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 19 hectares. The average soil climate number of Josefsdorf is 21 (as of 2010).
