Julien Falchero (born March 2, 1997 ) is a French racing driver . He has been part of the GP3 series since 2017 .

Career

Falchero began his motorsport career in 2015 in formula racing . He had previously participated in Formula Renault test drives in 2014 . He started for the GSK Grand Prix in the V de V Challenge Monoplace , an amateur championship. He won a race and finished second in the drivers' standings behind David Droux. He also made guest appearances in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and in the Alpine Formula Renault . He also competed in kart races. In 2016 Falchero made his debut as a regular driver in professional motorsport and drove for R-ace GP in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and in theNorthern European Formula Renault . He finished both championships in 13th place.

In 2017 Falchero switched to the GP3 series and received a cockpit at Campos Racing . Former racing driver Jean-Pierre Jarier will act as his coach this year.
