Julio Macat

Julio Guillermo Macat (born June 20, 1957 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an American cameraman .

Life

Macat was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. At the age of 14 he immigrated to the USA with his family. After graduating from Beverly Hills High School , he began working as a camera assistant for cameramen like Mario Tosi and John Alcott . He then decided to study at UCLA , which he completed at the age of 26. His first movie as a cameraman was the horror film Mächte des Horens, directed by Michael Schroeder . Since then he has been involved in more than 35 film and television projects.

Macat has been married to actress Elizabeth Perkins since June 17, 2000 .
